The best, February 24, 2010 By Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: B+W 67mm Circular Polarizer with Multi-Resistant Coating (Electronics) B+W filters, along with Heliopan, are the finest. This features outstanding construction, great optical quality, MRC coating to resist flare. Why settle for less? Everyone needs a polarizing filter, not just to make clouds pop out against the sky but to improve color saturation of an entire scene.
If you are not experienced with polarizing filters, learn proper use and you'll find this invaluable.

I was worried about vignetting with the polarizer being not the slim one. I find that even at 18mm I had no vignetting at all. I didn't buy the polarizer at amazon, but this is the one I got from some where else.
The cleaning of the polarizer is good and easier than I though, even though it took a couple of minutes. Just make sure you read cleaning instruction from B+w website to make sure you don't mess up the coating.
I compared image w/ and w/o the filter on and I could not see any image degrading problem. (if there is some it must be minor since I couldn't see any.) So far I had the polarizer for a couple of days. The sky is a nice blue (if done correctly) and color of grass/tree are greener. I love the way how the clouds look's sharp,white, and clear.
Overall I am very happy with it. Pricey yes, but I rather skip the problem with a cheaper one. The filter seems very good quality, heavy, and looks... Read more

Nice Polorizing Filter, POOR Threading to Canon Lens, January 2, 2010 Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: B+W 67mm Circular Polarizer with Multi-Resistant Coating (Electronics) Pro: Filter glass is good quality. It polarizes well, not too much, just a bit of darkening/contrast. Nice.
Cons: This filter Does Not fit my Canon EF-S 18-135 lens threads Canon EF-S 18-135mm f/3.5-5.6 IS UD Standard Zoom Lens for Canon Digital SLR Cameras. The other less expensive 67mm filters I own, from different manufacturers, thread on very easily and smooth and are easy to remove. The B+W 66-044842 67mm Circular PolarizerMRC Filter does not thread onto that same lens smoothly, it feels as if it cross threads. The threads on the B+W filter look fine, not sure if they are a larger thread pitch, or if the black coating on the threads is too thick and causing the threads to bind. Tiffen filters thread on 2 full rotations smoothly and snug to the front of the Canon lens. The B+W filter threads onto the Canon lens less... Read more
