I was most excited about the wide angle lens, which was the biggest disappointment. The reason it disappoints is because when zoomed all the way out - for a complete wide angle shot - the corners of the image are black because you see the lens itself. To hide this vignetting, you have to zoom in to a point that renders the wide angle lens useless. Zooming in to this point with the wide angle lens equals about the same shot as not having the lens and using the camera's own wide angle view. The telephoto lens suffers from the same vignetting - except even more extreme. Fortunately, this is forgivable because when the camera is set to telephoto, the vignetting is gone. But if you need to take a quick non-telephoto shot, you can't zoom out because of the extreme vignetting. You need to remove the lens.
